At the moment all is safe in Nartrufia. The Alphas are comforted in their lands and more wolves are slowly entering them... It seems like some battles have subsided for the moment.

The story is as old as the land itself, handed down from generation to generation and growing worse and worse by each tale. It started that the land split because the original pack was too big, but over time the rivalry grew worse and uglier. Some began making up lies and false words, twisting the story so much they themselves would believe it. Generation after generation grew more hate for the other pack, thinking the other was fifth and sinful.

Each pack is known for a more certain characteristics than the other. Virote, named after a long dead alpha, is more masculine and powerful. While they are not idiots, they are less intelligent than Inaya. They have an advantage over the others however; numbers. Virote has long been winning the fight for land and new members, threatening to stamp out Inaya.

Inaya are intelligent and beautiful, with grace on their side. It is believed they were named after a female alpha, known for her wisdom and beauty. Their males are swifter and more agile than Virote, but they do not have the brawn of Virote. The females are seductive and wise, fighting through words and intelligence rather than strength. These qualities; while nice, do not do much to win the fight they are now battling.

For a while now a drought has come about and tension between the packs has been getting stronger. The fights have become more serious and dangerous, and although it is not unnatural for the youngsters to wander along with each other, the wolves have been getting more and more protective.

Still, a few stray from the pack's boundaries, and secret romances and friendships have been formed. Should their alphas find out, well, only so much could be said for what will happen...

For a while a third pack has been formed, small in numbers and harmless to either side of the feud. They are known as the Nova, Latin for new, named by an older member of the Inaya pack that eventually continued to be so common that they themselves picked the word up. They are less organized than the other packs but do have an alpha and small pack system set up.
